These grades are suitable for heat treating to reach high tensile strengths and are available in small quantities down to one single sheet or bar. We can supply EN8 and EN9 in sheets from 6mm to 100m in thickness and EN 43A in a range of flat bar dimensions.

EN9  is a medium carbon steel which can develop a tensile strength of 700N/mm 45tsi. with heat treatment.
